After Priyanka Gandhi enters politics, Narendra Modi targets Congress with ‘dynasty’ jibe
While interacting with BJP booth workers in Maharashtra, on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Congress over dynastic politics, hours after Priyanka Gandhi formally entered the active politics.
He said when it comes to the Bharatiya Janata Party, decisions are not taken based on what one person or one family thinks. And this appointment is clearly based on family decisions.
Modi claimed that BJP is a democratic and principles-driven party. He said, “Democracy runs in the veins of the BJP, which is why people of the country feel closer to the party.”
In an apparent reference to Priyanka Gandhi’s appointment as general secretary of eastern Uttar Pradesh, Modi said, “In our party, decisions are taken on the basis of what party workers want.”
Having a great interaction with Karyakartas from Maharashtra. Watch. https://t.co/GOLEXovUEJ
