Modi targets Mamata over arrest of BJP youth activist, says ‘won't file FIR against you even if you paint an ugly picture of me’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday, took a dig at West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee over the arrest of a BJP youth activist for posting a meme of her and said Banerjee can make an “ugly” painting of him which he will heartily receive and preserve for life.

While speaking at an election rally in Bashirhat Lok Sabha constituency, Modi referred to paintings seized by central probe agencies and said, “I have heard you are an artist and your paintings were sold for crores of rupees in the name of Saradha and Narada scam.”

 Modi also said he would never lodge an FIR against the TMC chief for “bhaddi se bhaddi” (grotesque or ugly) painting she makes of him
