Shashi Tharoor says AIIMS forensic chief concealed Sunanda Pushkar’s original postmortem report

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, on Thursday, alleged before a Delhi special court that All India Institute of Medical Sciences forensic chief Sudhir Gupta has the original postmortem report of his wife Sunanda Pushkar and he has “deliberately concealed it”.
Senior advocate Vikas Pahwa, appearing for Tharoor, while contending before special judge Arun Bhardwaj, said, “Original documents (related to the postmortem report of Sunanda Pushkar) are with Dr. Sudhir Gupta … The same should not have been with him. How can he carry documents wherever he goes? These documents need to be filed with the charge sheet or should be with the court.”
Although Dr. Sudhir Gupta denied the allegations while claiming that all reports were submitted to the Delhi Police long ago and said, “By making this allegation, Tharoor is misleading the court.”
Pahwa also argued of discrepancies in the electronic evidence and the charge sheet by police. The counsel for the Delhi Police opposed the submissions alleging an “attempt is being made to delay the case”.
