Sonia Gandhi appreciates Nitin Gadkari’s work

UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, who was patiently listening to the Union road transport minister Nitin Gadkri while he was giving detailed description of the work being executed and undertaken under his ministry, in the Lok Sabha, appreciated his work by thumping the desk. She was also seen nodding in response when Gadkari was answering the two questions took up by the House regarding his work.

The Congress party leader in Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge too has seen thumping the desk in appreciation of Gadkari’s work.

Reacting to this, Gadkari said, “I must say here that all MPs, cutting across political affiliations, have been appreciating me for the work being done by my ministry in their respective constituencies.”  

According to media reports, last year in August, Sonia Gandhi had written to Gadkari for his positive response to the issues raised by her relating to the road transport in her constituency Rae Bareli.
