Sushma Swaraj to Rahul Gandhi: ‘LK Advani like our father figure, maintain some decorum in your speech’

After the Congress president, Rahul Gandhi, accused the prime minister, Narendra Modi, of insulting the Bharatiya Janata Party’s senior leader Lal Krishna Advani, the external affairs minister, Sushma Swaraj, on Saturday, hit back at Gandhi. The Congress president had said the prime minister had humiliated the BJP patriarch.

Swaraj, tweeting both in Hindi and English said the BJP treats LK Advani like a father figure and expressed her displeasure with Gandhi’s statements.
