RJD takes jibe at Amit Shah’s tweet, says ‘strike on encephalitis, please’
RJD leader Lalu Prasad (L) with his son Tejashwi Yadav.
Lalu Prasad’s Rashtriya Janata Dal took a swipe at Union home minister Amit Shah, on Monday, over his “strike” tweet on India’s win on Pakistan at the ICC World Cup and urged him to carry out a “strike” against the raging encephalitis epidemic in Bihar.
Quoting Shah’s tweet, the RJD, from its official Twitter handle, tweeted: “Sir, please do a strike on encephalitis in Bihar. More than 200 kids have been died due to it. Thanking you in anticipation!”
