Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, on Tuesday, claimed that Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu is more concerned about his friendship with Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan than the well-being of India.

Talking to reporters, Kejriwal, who was in Amritsar for a wedding reception, slammed the Congress leader for his “utterances” in the wake of the Pulwama terror attack, in which over 40 CRPF personnel were killed. Kejriwal said Sidhu’s statement had “hurt the sentiments” of the nation.

Kejriwal said, “Sidhu’s statement has hurt the sentiments of entire nation,” and further, “It seems for Sidhu, friendship (with Khan) comes first and then the nation.”

After the Pulwama attack, Sidhu had said “an entire nation can’t be blamed for the actions of terrorists,” which led to a huge controversy. However, soon after the controversy erupted, Sidhu said his comments were “distorted”.
