In Telangana, Yogi Adityanath says ‘vote for BJP to see Hyderabad transform into Bhagyanagar’
Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, while campaigning for the BJP during an election rally in Telangana’s Goshamahal constituency, urged the voters to support his party and see the “transformation of Hyderabad to Bhagyanagar”.
Addressing a public meeting on late Sunday evening, Adityanath said, “If Hyderabad has to be transformed into ‘Bhagyanagar’ then I call upon you to support BJP to form government (in Telangana).”
Recently, Adityanath’s Uttar Pradesh government has renamed Faizabad as Ayodhya and Allahabad as Prayagraj.
The UP chief minister also slammed the Congress for not celebrating the Telangana Liberation Day saying, “They (Congress) are scared that Muslims vote bank would go away.”
Adityanath further said BJP is taking up developmental works and bringing out welfare schemes without discriminating any caste, creed and religion and wondered why Congress and other parties are “not implementing” the same.
