JD(U) lawmaker Neeraj Kumar compares Misa Bharti to ‘Shurpanakha’, invites her brother Tej Pratap’s anger

Neeraj Kumar, who is a member of Bihar’s legislative council from the state’s ruling JD(U), courted controversy when he compared the eldest daughter of the RJD president Lalu Prasad, Misa Bharti, to the Ramayana character “Shurpanakha” in a tweet.

In the Hindu mythological epic, Shurpanakha was the sister of the demon king Ravan and was depicted as a seductress.

Neeraj Kumar also tweeted and slammed the RJD leader for choosing his younger son as his political heir then the elder one.

Reacting strongly on this comment Bharti’s brother Tej Pratap threatened to file a case against the Kumar.
