Yogi Adityanath.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, on Tuesday, in a counterattack against BSP leader Mayawati’s cautioning Muslims not to spilt their votes, said that if the opposition had faith in “Ali”, BJP had faith in “Bajrang Bali”. He also accused SP, BSP and Congress of spreading green virus in the country.

While addressing a rally in Meerut, Adityanath said, “Mayawati urges Muslims to vote for the coalition, and not split their vote, now the Hindus have no option but to vote for the BJP.”

He further labeled the Indian Union Muslim League a “green virus” and called for its elimination. He claimed “the coalition is shouting ‘Ali-Ali’ on the stage at their rallies, these people want to ruin the country with the collaboration of the ‘green virus’ of Muslim League. Time has come to eliminate this virus forever.”
